Arnaudville (KATC) — Beau Chene softball is not a powerhouse program, and 2019 the Gators chased the school’s first ever state title.
Friday the Gators fell to Buckeye 3-1.
The 2019 season was powered by senior rightfielder Leah Charles. The 4.0 student played an integral role in the program’s historic season.
“It definitely has to be the chemistry that our team has. I’ve noticed that as a team we’re very close. That we pay attention to the little things at practice. That we leave the drama and everything outside the fences and when we get in between those two white lines it’s time to play,” she said.
