Game of the Week
This week’s game of the week takes us to New Iberia where Catholic High (7-1) hosts Ascension Episcopal (7-1.) This game will likely determine the winner of district 7-2A. Since being shutout against Notre Dame in week 4, the Panthers have score 258 points. In victory and defeat, Catholic High has yet to play a close game. Meanwhile for the Gators, history is repeating itself in 2018 as Ascensions is off to another 7-1 start. But will week 9 follow 2017 script’s? Last year AES lost to CNI 22-0, a better Gators team this year will look right the past Friday night.
