Jeanerette Tigers
2017 Record: 4-7
How it Happened: The Tigers lost 5 games by single digits, including a 2-0 loss to Ascension Episcopal
It’s safe to say that finishing strong has been emphasized for Jeanerette this offseason. The Tigers have 5 starters returning, who play on offense and defense. All-District Defensive Back Troy Gilliams is back in the fold. The Tigers strength should be on their defensive line, where they deploy 3 lineman that are 6’3 or taller, including senior Toddrick Paul. JHS’ weakness will be their lack of experience. Sophomore Noah Rollins will transition from punter to quarterback for the Tigers in 2018.
