Saints' quarterback Drew Brees will join the NBC broadcast booth when his football career is over.
The news is according to NY Post's Andrew Marchand

Brees was a target for a number of NFL media partners this winter as they tried pulling him off the field and into the booth.
Brees was seen as the focus of ESPN's Monday Night Football search, and rumors say the "World Wide Leader" was willing to wait. Bress is not expected to replace Chris Collinsworth or even begin with Sunday Night Football, instead Marchand reports Brees will start with coverage of Notre Dame.
This winter the NFL rights holders spent a lot of money bolstering their staffs (Tony Romo cashed in on a deal paying him $17 million to stay with CBS) and chasing big names like Brees and Peyton Manning as the NFL gets sets to negotiate new TV deals.
