Louisiana baseball handled its business in perhaps its most important stretch of the season this past week. The Cajuns finishing 4-1 to get their Sun Belt and overall record back to 500.
Louisiana also hoping for a repeat performance on the mound from Brandon Young this week. Young was named the Louisiana sports Writers Pitcher of the Week Today.
The junior right-hander threw 13 strikeouts and allowed only one run in the series sealing victory over Arkansas State.
The 13 Ks are the most for a cajuns since Austin Robichaux in 2013.
