(KATC) — This week’s Senior Spotlight features Beau Chene High School senior Cameron Escoyne. Unlike many featured athletes on Senior Spotlight, Escoyne doesn’t participate in an LHSAA sport. The reason? He’s an archer. A national champion archer.
After coming in first in an Archery Shooters Association (ASA) event in Georgia in March, Escoyne now has his sights set on a career in the sport. He competes locally for 4H of St. Landry Parish and Louisiana Field Archery Association (LFAA).
