LAFAYETTE, La (KATC) — This week’s Senior Spotlight features Lafayette High School bowler Abigail Reeves.
The Lions senior has never received a grade other than “A” in her high school career, and will head to college in Natchitoches in the fall with nearly $80,000 in academic scholarships.
The team captain for LHS says bowling has helped her maintain a level head in the sport and out of it.
“I’m not gonna say that I’m the best bowler cause I’m definitely not,” Reeves said. “But having a good attitude even when you’re five frames in and haven’t closed a frame, or gotten a spare, or a strike yet, it’s just keeping a good attitude and knowing that hey maybe that next ball I’m going to change something.”
