(KATC) — After wins over Tulane, UNO, and most recently Southern, Ragin’ Cajuns men’s basketball is officially streaking.
On Saturday it was JaKeenan Gant’s 10 blocked shots against Southern (one shy of the school record) that helped Louisiana pull of its latest win.
It’s an effort that coach Bob Marlin would like to see repeated over and over as the Cajuns are well aware that they’re getting every team’s best shot this season.
“Everyone wants to beat the Ragin’ Cajuns,” Marlin told reporters on Monday.
“If you would have heard the locker room at Toledo in the Gulf Coast Showcase, when they beat us, then you would understand. And it’s no different from the in state schools. So we’ll be prepared and ready to play. And certainly hope to not have a let down.”
The Cajuns will look to extend the streak to four on Wednesday night when Loyola visits the Cajun Dome.
