Louisiana faces one of it’s most important games in years Saturday hosting Arkansas State. In 20017 it was a 47-3 thumping on the road against the Red Wolves. But this year Louisiana is clearly better on offense, and gaining confidence on defense after holding the Sun Belt’s highest scoring team to 27 a week ago. Arkansas State leads the conference in yards-per-game. The Cajuns are a half-game out of first place in the Sun Belt West, Saturday’s result could be the difference between both a SBC Championship appearance and bowl eligibility.
