Acadiana and Ruston had a lot of elements for a classic game. From start to finish, the contest was within one possession. There was a hour long weather delay at halftime, only adding to the suspense. But at the end, the Wreckin’ Rams were down by 1, 21-20, when Keontae Williams scrambled and threw up a prayer to Kaleb Cavalier. That prayer was answered, as Cavalier powered his way into the endzone.
The Rams advance to 2-0. Next up, Acadiana will host Carencro.
