How it Happened: The Vikings were a win away from a District 5-1A title in 2017, after falling to Catholic of Pointe Coupee in Week 10
OC will try to make another run at the district crown with 14 starters returning. The Vikings will have all 5 offensive linemen returning up front to go with all-parish TE Adam Purser and WR Devin Thierry. Senior Zach Mengarelli is moving from quarterback to slot receiver, paving the way for junior Jesse Roy to take over as the QB.
3rd Year Head Coach Thomas David says the team leadership is heading in the right direction, as seniors and juniors have been taking charge this offseason. He also mentioned that his defense should be one of the strengths of this OC team, with 6 starters returning on that side.
