There are few teams as consistent as Louis Cook teams. But in 2018 Cook will have to be every bit of the newly minted Hall of Fame coach he is. Notre Dame is replacing most of its starters, but is filling in the holes with upperclassmen. Notre Dame’s strength is its weakness. While the Pios have 23 seniors, many will see their most significant playing of their career this fall. .
In his 21st year, Cook says he’s drawing his motivation from his players, who draw their motivation from that 33-16 loss in the Division III title game.
