NEW ORLEANS, La — Tuesday marked the first day of mandatory mini camp for the New Orleans Saints and the return of runningback Mark Ingram to the field.
Ingram made his first appearance this offseason at the Saints practice facility in the Metairie. Ingram’s appearance is noteworthy due to his 4-game suspension to begin the 2018 season after testing positive for an illegal substance.
the 7-year veteran has been sitting out of voluntary OTAs so far this offseason, but says he’s not doing so because of any contract dispute, but rather to train on his own.
