Baseball falls to Texas A&M, 9-2

COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS – The LSU baseball team was unable to recover after falling behind Texas A&M in the first inning as the Tigers fell to the Aggies, 9-2, on Friday night. 

Caleb Gilbert suffered the loss for the Tigers after he went 0.2 innings and surrendered five runs on six hits.

John Doxakis earned the win for Texas A&M after going eight innings and allowing just two runs.

The rubber match of the series will take place on Saturday, April 6, at 2 p.m. CT in College Station.
