Today's viral performance comes from Erath High School.
Blaze Bright was the state cross country champion as a junior last year and the state runner-up as a senior this year. Bright was getting ready for his track season and was being scouted by colleges when the COVID-19 outbreak forced the LHSAA to suspend the season.
There is some good news in this story. Blaze's aunt tells KATC that he's received a scholarship offer from the University of New Orleans.
