Today's Cool School is St. Genevieve School!
St. Genevieve 8th graders recently participated in the Boys' and Girls' Clubs Youth Legislature at the Old State Capital. They spent 2 months preparing. The group held an election for a student to serve as governor. The kids learned how our government works by passing and not passing bills. They developed their skills for interviewing as well as brushing up on their speech and debate abilities In the end they had more than eight bills signed into law!
