A Bloody Mary made right can practically double as an appetizer — a philosophy that Red Lobster is whole-heartedly embracing with its latest limited-time cocktail that’s now available at the seafood chain’s restaurants.
Red Lobster unveiled “The Lobster Claw Bloody Mary” and it’s decked out with all kinds of delicious garnishes, including a chilled Maine lobster claw and a jumbo shrimp hooked to the rim of the glass. The drink even comes with one of the seafood chain’s beloved Cheddar Bay Biscuits. (Pro tip: Try dunking the cheesy, buttery biscuit in the Bloody Mary!)
Red Lobster introduced its bountiful Bloody Mary on social media. Here’s a sneak peek at the over-the-top cocktail that Red Lobster posted on its Twitter account:
#NationalBloodyMaryDay is Jan. 1st but this "Drink-a-tizer" is available now, it's the new ð¦ð¦ð¦Lobster Claw Bloody Mary ð¦ð¦ð¦

Acknowledging just how loaded the Bloody Mary is, Red Lobster is referring to it as a “Drink-A-Tizer.” The cocktail-appetizer-maybe-even-a-lunch (if you order a second round?) is made with Tito’s vodka and Red Lobster’s house Bloody Mary mix. It also comes garnished with a lime wedge and green olive. The rim of the glass offers a kick thanks to a spicy chipotle BBQ seasoning.
If you want to give the restaurant’s Lobster Claw Bloody Mary a try, get there fast. It’s a limited-time cocktail. The Bloody Mary rolled out on Dec. 30 and is available at Red Lobster restaurants nationwide through Feb. 2, 2020.
Of course, you could try making it at home with Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix or a copycat biscuit recipe if you prefer to hibernate during the post-holiday winter season.
Red Lobster has been on a roll lately, with its merchandise line that includes a Red Lobster-themed ugly Christmas sweater (sold out now) and a limited-time Cheddar Bay Biscuit Insulated Fanny Pack ($19.99).
Not like you need any extra incentive to give this behemoth of a drink a try, but Red Lobster’s specialty Bloody Mary will be here to celebrate National Bloody Mary Day, which just so happens to be January 1. Coincidence that the food holiday is on New Year’s Day or just some good ol’ hair of the dog planning? We’ll let you decide!
Happy National Bloody Mary Day!
