Scott firefighters and city leaders handed out food to residents on Thursday.
Those who needed food drove through the fire department's garage Thursday morning, as firefighters loaded their cars with boxes of food.
Mayor Jan-Scott Richard explained how the city was helping residents while maintaining safety guidelines.
"Due to COVID-19, we felt like this would be the best case scenario in regards to adhering to the social distancing rules and to limit the contact between individuals, to have them run through one of the bays," said Richard. "It's a great partnership between the City of Scott and the Scott Fire Department in making sure that we're able to hand these goods out."
