Communities across the country are coming together to feed those in need during this pandemic, and as that need grows, back here at home food banks are looking for extra help.
Second Harvest Food Bank provided food for 985 households just last week. That's 300 more than the first mass distribution. With the growing numbers, the food bank is looking for volunteers to keep up.
"In addition to these distributions at Cajun Field, we have a tremendous need for volunteers for food repacking and other distribution sites," explained John Dziurgot, Regional Director. "So please don't wait. If you're interested in volunteering, come. We could use your help now."
