As schools get their reopening plans together, many parents are concerned about how their kids will get to and from school.
Most school systems have plans for limiting the number of students on the bus at one time, even looking at double routes for drivers.
Acadia Parish school superintendent Scott Richard says it's important everyone cooperates.
"We contract those services to DS Bus, and they are working through safety protocols to make sure that drivers understand that they need to be masked up and our students, especially grades 3-12, are masked up," explained Richard. "We're going to need a lot of cooperation from our parents on that perspective especially to make sure students are wearing masks."
