A virtual job fair will be held Thursday, August 27, for Education software company SchoolMint.

The governor's office recently announced that the company was relocating its headquarters from San Francisco to Lafayette.

The move comes after the company acquired the Lafayette-based Smart Choice Technologies in 2019. They also plan to consolidate their U.S. operations in New York and Miami to Lafayette.

The virtual job fair will take place on Brazen.com from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m and work to fill 30 positions in Lafayette. The company is looking to hire for positions in Customer Success, Engineering, Implementation and Professional Services, and Marketing and Sales.

The job fair is hosted in partnership with Louisiana Economic Development, Lafayette Economic Development Authority, South Louisiana Community College, Acadiana Workforce, the Louisiana Workforce Commission and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Those wanting to apply can find information on the virtual job fair through lafayette.org/schoolmint. A link to the Brazen.com platform will be available through the landing page. Candidates will connect with SchoolMint representatives in one-on-one virtual booths on the platform on the day of the job fair.
