With COVID-19 cases on the rise in Acadiana, medical experts say it's safer to stay home, and Lafayette Travel has put together a list of virtual activities that make that a little more fun.
This post on the Lafayette Travel website gives you links where you can participate in art activities, learn to speak French, gaze at the stars and even get a rice-and-gravy lesson from Chef Madonna from Laura's II.
"Just because we’re staying home doesn’t mean we can’t have fun," Laura Lee writes in the post. "Plenty of local organizations are offering enriching programs you and your families can enjoy right from your computer or smartphone. Miss the food, music, and scenery of Cajun Country? There are plenty of exciting ways to bring the best of Acadiana right into your living room or kitchen."
