The Acadiana Regional Coalition on Homelessness & Housing, or ARCH, is enacting its Freeze Plan ahead of winter weather expected over the next several days.

ARCH's Freeze Plan is set to provide sheltering options during temperatures below 36º F, below 40º F with precipitation, or during inclement weather events.

Anyone in need of shelter or if you know someone in need of shelter, call 232-HELP/211. You'll be referred to ARCH's Hotel Shelter Program, which will find the best resource for the situation.

The Freeze Plan is largely funded by the public. If you'd like to help, click here or contact ARCH directly at 337-967-0995.

ARCH is also accepting blanket donations. Those can be dropped off at ARCH's ShareHouse at 211-A Guilbeau Road in Lafayette. Donations are accepted Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. or by appointment.
