ABBEVILLE, La. — The City of Abbeville has reported a main water line that broke Monday on Hwy 338, just north of Richard St., which has left many in the area without water.
A city official said that crews are currently attempting to repair the line, but did not have an estimate on when the repairs would be done.
A boil advisory will be in effect until further notice for the area once the repairs are made.
