St. Mary Parish, LA - Deputies are investigating a shooting that took place on St. Joseph Lane in Franklin.
911 Dispatch received a call of shots fired around 5:21 this evening. Upon arrival, deputies discovered one person had been shot.
The victim was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
The investigation is active and deputies ask that you avoid the area at this time.
