Acadiana Workforce Solutions is hosting two recruiting events next week for youth in St. Martin Parish.
The events are part of the Youth Work Experience program, which targets youth ages 16-24 and provides an opportunity to obtain paid work experience in a field that matches their interests.
Both events are called St. Martin Youth Recruitment Extravaganzas.
The first will be held on Tuesday, February 2, at the Cecilia Civic Center located at 2464 Cecilia High School Road in Breaux Bridge.
The next day, the second event will be held at Adam Carlsen Park Pavillion, located at 800 Isadore Drive in St. Martinville.
Tuesday's hours will be from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m., with Wednesday's from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Both are open to youth 16-24 years of age. Those attending will have the chance to earn work experience opportunities through paid internships.
Those attending are asked to adhere to social distancing and all other COVID-19 guidelines while at the events. A mask is required for entry into the civic center.
