St. Martin deputies arrest one, seek one in armed robbery

St. Martin Parish deputies have arrested a man in connection with a Broussard armed robbery.

The incident happened early Saturday at a Broussard convenience store, and the suspect then led police on a short vehicle and foot pursuit in Parks.

Isaiah Alexcee, 20, St. Martinville, LA., was also wanted on the below outstanding active arrest warrants and for Failure to Appear on charges unrelated to the armed robbery.

For the Broussard and Parks incident, he was booked with Armed Robbery-Felony; Aggravated Flight from an Officer; Criminal Damage to Property and Battery of a Police Officer.

He was also booked on the following active arrest warrants: Assault by Drive by Shooting; Criminal Damage to Property; Obstruction of Justice; Firearm-Free Zone; Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling; two counts Failure to Appear.

Following his arrest, he was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges. At the time of this release, no bond had been set.

Alexcee is also being held for Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office Detectives on the following warrants in connection with the armed robbery of a convenience store Saturday morning in Iberia Parish: two counts armed robbery and one count attempted first-degree murder.
