A parish wide curfew will begin at 10:00 pm on Wednesday, April 1 for all residents of St. Martin Parish.
Parish President Chester Cedars says the curfew will be in place from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am for all municipalities including Breaux Bridge, Henderson, Cecilia, Parks and St. Martinville.
The curfew prohibits/ controls pedestrian and vehicular traffic except for essential emergency vehicles and personnel.
Cedars says that the curfew will not apply to anyone going to and from employment or any essential business activity as defined by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency of the United States Department of Homeland Security.
