BREAUX BRIDGE, La. — The Louisiana State Police are currently investigating a four-vehicle crash on I-10 near mile post 107 eastbound between Lafayette and Breaux Bridge with one fatality reported.
According to LSP, I-10 East has been shut down at I-49 (Exit 103-B). There are no commercial vehicles involved, LSP say.
Troopers say eastbound traffic is being diverted to US Hwy 190 via I-49 North. Please expect delays and avoid the area if possible.
The entrance ramps from I-49 North onto I-10 East and from Louisiana Ave. onto I-10 East remain blocked due to an accident at mile marker 107 (before Breaux Bridge). Traffic congestion remains minimal.

The Louisiana Deportment of Transportation and Development is reporting that I-10 East is closed at Mile Marker 107 before Breaux Bridge.
DOTD states that the closures is due to an accident.
According to DOTD, congestion is approaching I-49, and motorists on I-10 East are advised to divert at I-49 North and travel on US 190 East.
