City of St. Martinville boil advisory lifted; bills will be late

The boil advisory issued for the City of St. Martinville on February 24, 2023 has now been lifted.

Also, the city's utility bills are being mailed out late.

"Due to software conversion and technical difficulties, the City of St. Martinville’s utility bills will be mailed out late. We apologize for the inconvenience. You can see and pay your utility bill online or come to city hall to get bill amount and pay. You may also Call our office for your bill amount or with any questions at 337-394-2230. Office hours are 8am to 4:30pm," a release from the city states.

They've made some changes to this billing cycle:

*5% late penalty will not be assessed until March 25th instead of March 15th and

*Cut off day will be April 5th instead of March 25th.

"FYI > You can always call on the 1st of the Month to get your bill amount before the utility bill arrives at your residence," the release states.
