BREAUX BRIDGE, La. -The Teche Center for the Arts (TCA) raffle to win Carrie Underwood Ultimate Fan VIP Package helped raise thousands in support of the Isley Thibodeaux Art & Music Scholarship.
Luke Huval was the winner of the raffle that created the $10,000 scholarship fund in one week.
"The goal is $20,000 by year's end," said TCA Board Chairperson Coatney Raymond. "This was a true community effort that revealed how giving and loving Acadiana is. Isley's legacy is one of learning and love."
Huval and his niece Lola Guidry met Carrie Underwood during her concert at the Cajundome in Lafayette on Sunday, September 22, 2019.
