The runaway teen, Isiah Pickney, has been located, according to Major Mark Guidry, Opelousas Police Department.
He will be referred to the juvenile justice system, and released to his mother.

The Opelousas Police Department is asking for help in locating a runaway teenager.
Police say 15-year-old Isiah Pickney ran away from his home on Friday, August 16, and has not returned home.
Pickney's mother advised officers that he has been seen in Evangeline Parish but is avoiding her.
Anyone with knowledge of Isiah's whereabouts is asked to contact OPD at 337-948-2500. Police say that anyone knowingly allowing Pickney to absent from his home without consent could face charges of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
