One person has died in a crash near Opelousas, State Police say.
The person, whose identity has not yet been released, was riding a bicycle on the I-49 service road near Chevis Road, troopers say.
The accident is still under investigation, but impairment is not suspected on the part of the vehicle driver.
Troopers are checking to see if the bicycle had the lights that are required for riding at night.
