Due to conditions created from the winter storm and low water levels throughout the system, a City-Wide Boil advisory has been issued for Opelousas.
The advisory will be in effect until further notice, officials say.
According to Mayor Alsandor, crews are currently assessing the water situation and citizens will be kept abreast.
The administration is asking citizens/customers NOT TO DRIP FAUCETS tonight.
