A cross from one of the St. Landry churches that were burned has disappeared.
A post from architect Stephen Juan Ortego indicates the cross has gone missing from the site of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
"We had plans to use it in the new sanctuary in our design as a relic of their old church that was burned by an arsonist several months ago," Ortego writes.
He asks that anyone with information about its whereabouts get in touch.
