Christmas parade held in Eunice

and last updated

A Christmas parade rolled through Eunice Thursday despite the pandemic.

Although the annual event still took place, it looked a bit different because of COVID-19 safety measures.

Organizers say there weren't be any throws this year, and area bands didn't participate in the parade.

Those in attendance were happy to be having a little fun amid the difficult year.

"It was a little bit smaller this year with the crowd, being it's cold and with everything going on, but most of the people still came with the kids and they were still happy," said Connie Stagg.

The parade began at 5 p.m. and started at the intersection of 2nd and Walnut.
