2 mowers stolen from North City Park in Opelousas

The St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office says that two zero turn lawn mowers were stolen from a shed at North City Park in Opelousas.

Deputies say the two Xmark zero turn lawn mowers valued at $20,000 were stolen overnight on Sunday, August 11.

Opelousas police, sheriff's deputies, and park personnel were out Monday morning searching for evidence left behind from the burglary.

Officials are asking anyone with information on the burglary to contact the Opelousas Police Department or St. Landry Crime Stoppers.
