Alvin Kamara paced the Saints to a quick 17-7 lead in the first half, before the Las Vegas Raiders chipped away winning 34-24 on Monday Night Football.
New Orleans surrendered 24-straight points before a fourth quarter Kamara rushing touchdown cut the lead to seven. Kamara rushed 13 times for 79 yards and two scores. Brees threw for 312 yards, a touchdown and interception, but once again struggled throwing downfield.
Derek Carr threw for 284 yards, three touchdowns in the win, the first at the Raiders' new home in Las Vegas Allegiant Stadium. Daniel Carlson hit a 54-yard field goal with 1:07 to play to solidify the victory for the Raiders.
The Saints fall to 1-1 on the season. They have not started the season 2-0 since 2013.
