Severe weather moving through Central Louisiana on Wednesday night brought significant damage to at least one building at LSU-Alexandria.

The Dewitt Livestock Building at LSUA was among those that were damaged. A photo posted by Alexandria news station KALB shows the extent of the damage, including blown-off siding.

KALB viewers report that the campus was "hit hard" by the storms.

Several tornado warnings were issued in the region throughout Wednesday evening. Acadiana remains at a low to slight risk of seeing severe weather through the night. Click here for the latest.
