Mother Nature is giving us a way to ease into our work week with clouds slowly building up through the day with moisture increasing courtesy of a stiff breeze from the south.
That southerly breeze will keep the afternoon high in the low 70s on Monday, while also building up some of the moisture in the atmosphere.
While that moisture won't translate to showers right away, it will provide a steady increase in cloud cover which will ultimately end with mostly cloudy skies for the majority of the week.
Showers will hold off until the middle of the week when a front will move through the area sparking a round of showers and even a few strong storms.
There's a chance for severe weather on Wednesday, although as of now it is a marginal risk with the stronger storms expected directly to our east.
Make sure to stay up to date on the weather forecast as the week unfolds to keep up with any of the changes.
