Pleasant weekend before a wet week

A frosty start to your Friday with morning temperatures flirting with the freeing mark a result of the winds calming and skies clearing Thursday night.

Despite the cold start temperatures will be fairly pleasant Friday afternoon, warming up into the mid 60s by the later part of the day.

Plenty of sunshine now that the front has finally passed, and those clear skies will continue on into the rest of the weekend.

A handful of clouds will start to appear on Saturday and it won't be surprising to see a quick pop up shower or two on Saturday, although the majority of the weekend will be very pleasant.

Temperatures will slowly warm up over the next several days and we'll be in the 70s by Sunday afternoon.

A quick look into next work week reveals a very wet stretch of weather that will be the result of a front which is stalling over Louisiana, keeping the door open for several days worth of showers.

The placement of the front will be the key in deciding just how much rain we're looking at but regardless of precipitation totals be ready for a really wet stretch of weather.
