Portions of the city of Ville Platte are under a boil advisory until further notice.
Officials say that the East Side Water System is experiencing problems with the water suppy.
Affected areas are Foret Ln. to Crawfish Center on Hwy. 29.
Residents are asked to boil water before consuming.
