The United States Air Force Band will be in Biloxi for a concert at the Beau Rivage.

On Friday, March 6 at 7:30 pm the U.S. Air Force Concert Band will perform along with the Singing Sargents in the Magnolia Ball room.

The concert will highlight wind music and some of the bands soloists. It's a part of the group's tour through Mississippi, Kentucky, and West Virginia.

Col. Don Schofield, Commander and Conductor of the band, explained, "We do about 1,600 performances each year. 800 of those are at Arlington National Cemetary. When we perform, our goal is to go out and connect with those audiences regardless of where we are, in the United States or overseas, so there's a lot of planning that goes into that. For a concert like the one we'll have in Biloxi, we've been planning for over a year to be able to bring the Air Force to the people."

The performance will also feature jazz music and the premiere of some of the band's new pieces.

Tickets are free and can be purchased online at Eventbrite.com.
