LAFAYETTE, La — The Greater Southwest Mardi Gras Association is preparing for Mardi Gras 2021.
RV parking spots are now available to be purchased along the parade route in Cajun field.
The price ranges from $50 for a vehicle parking pass and up to $1,200 for an RV depending on the zone you are requesting.
According to The Greater Southwest Mardi Gras Association's website, some zones are already sold out.
They are working with government officials to protect all participants by implementing COVID-19 social distancing precautions.
The Mardi Gras Festival runs from Friday, February 12, 2021, to Tuesday, February 16, 2021.
If the festival is canceled, you will be given the option to have your payment refunded or applied to the 2022 festival.
