The Eastbank All-Stars, the little league team that recently won the Little League World Series Championship, will be arriving back home via Air Force One.
The team met with the president on the tarmac before inviting them onto the plane, according to the White House press corp.
The President is on his way to Louisiana for a rally which will feature Republican candidates for Governor.
The team was in Washington DC to celebrate their Little League World Series win.
Nola.com reports that Scalise gave the team a tour around the U.S. Capitol Friday morning.
He posted a picture with the team before they boarded the plane.
