Family and friends of Dylan Plowden gathered today in Abbeville to remember the 14-year-old on the two-year anniversary of his death.
Plowden was killed in 2017 and his mother has been working hard since to remember her son and other victims of gun violence.
Today's Stop the Violence march was followed by a candlelight vigil.
Megan Plowden, Dylan's mother, hopes to help kids in her community.
"As a mother, it doesn't get easier," said Plowden, "These two years have been very hard and my goal is to keep his memory alive and to try to help the kids in the community join in peace instead of...violence."
