A St. Martinville man has been arrested and is facing attempted second degree murder charges following a disturbance Saturday morning.

SMPSO spokesperson Major Ginny Higgins said Deputies responded to a report of a disturbance with weapons in the 1100 block of Martin Dautreuil Road in Catahoula. Upon arrival, officers learned that Lester Thomas, Jr., 25, following a disturbance at the residence, had shot at an occupied vehicle in the driveway of the home. The occupant of the vehicle did not sustain any injuries.
