The St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office is hosting their next Kops and Kids Camp this weekend.
This weekend's camp is for young girls only and focuses on hunting, fishing, and camping. The camp is in St. Landry Parish and is chaperoned by full time law enforcement officers.
The Kops and Kids outdoor program is designed to allow children to have an opportunity to experience outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing free of charge.
The program is open to any child age 9 - 13.

Sheriff Bobby Guidroz stated that this is the 32nd camp that the Sheriff's Office has sponsored, and "plans are underway for the next Kops and Kids boys camp in the near future."
