St. Landry Parish Sheriff's deputies are investigating a body found in Beggs.
A spokesman confirms the body was found today off La. 10 near the community, which is north of Washington in St. Landry Parish.
The body was reported by a caller who saw what appeared to be a body in a ditch.
No other information is being released at this time.
