A national collaboration of breweries comes to the Parish Brewing Company in Broussard. It's open to anyone who wants to brew the beer and recreate their label. The money made goes to a local charity of that breweries choice.

The issue for service industry workers hits close to home because 50% of Parish Brewing's customers are employees of restaurants.

"In Louisiana, we eat and drink a lot. We have a lot of restaurants, and we have a lot of people who work in these places. They're completely out of income right now," said owner Andrew Godley.

The idea of "All Together" originated from a brewery in New York, and the staff at Parish Brewing thought it could do some good in Lafayette.

"All these breweries around the world can make this "All Together beer and everyone donates what they make to a charity," said Godley.

The money that the new beverage brings in will go to United Way of Acadiana's, "Lost my tip fund."

"Right now, it's just focused on employees who worked in the businesses in the downtown Lafayette area, but I do understand there are plans to expand it to other parts of Lafayette, said Godley.

The "All Together" beer is available online and anyone interested can call Parish Brewing in Broussard (337) 330-8601.
